Villages and communities along Tanzania’s crude oil pipeline route are set to gain access to electricity under a five-year cooperation agreement signed on Saturday between the Rural Energy Agency (Rea) and East African Crude Oil Pipeline (Eacop) Limited.
The agreement was signed in Dar es Salaam by Rea Director General Hassan Saidy and Eacop Managing Director Guillaume Dulout.
