Sharon Lokedi: ‘There is more to the marathon than winning’

Watching Sharon Lokedi compete in last month’s Boston Marathon, you could tell she couldn't quite find her rhythm early on. The pace wasn't to her liking, and she began to tire. She wasn't sure if she would complete the 42km race.
"Honestly, I just went with it, and I pulled through. At that time, I was like, I can just push it and see how it goes," Lokedi recounts.
