Celestin Ntawirema first organised the Rwanda Cultural Fashion Week in 2013 with the aim of providing Rwandan fashion designers with a platform to showcase their creations. Ntawirema, who trades under his entertainment company Iris Pro Films, also wanted “to create a fashion show that highlights the culture of the country.”

“We wanted to showcase our rich culture through fashion and also create business opportunities for Rwandan fashion designers,” says Ntawirema.
