DR JOLLY KABIRIZI: She helps Uganda farmers embrace new technology
At one point, Dr Jolly M.L Kabirizi was faced with what many agricultural scientists have to deal with — farmers who do not want to even consider changing the traditional methods of growing crops and keeping livestock.
That was in 2002, when she enrolled for a doctorate degree. Masaka district in central Uganda was her project location.
