Rwanda has relaxed rules on nightlife and trade to cash in on visitors, athletes and fans who have flocked to the country for the 2025 UCI World Road Championship.
Authorities had imposed restrictions especially on bars and nightclubs, which had to close at midnight during weekdays and 2am on weekends, a move that proprietors complained was detrimental to business.
