Bush-to-Beach plan increases tourist numbers

Kenya and Uganda have recorded a rise in tourist numbers in the last three years, attributed to cross selling of products.

According to the Annual Tourism Sector Performance Report 2024, the number of Kenyans visiting Uganda rose from 376,294 in 2022 to 490,000 the following year, while the number of Ugandans visiting Kenya shot from 150,000 to 201,620.
