Two killed in Uganda military plane crash

Two people were killed when a military plane crashed on Tuesday morning in central Uganda, official have said.

Brigadier Richard Karemire, Uganda People’s Defence Forces’ spokesperson said that the Ranger AF302 went down during a training mission in Bulo, Butambala district, killing two crew members on board.

“Sadly, no one has survived. Investigation into the cause has started. Condolences to their families and the entire UPDF fraternity,” Brigadier Karemire tweeted.

The army is yet to identify the victims.
