A Sudanese woman of Nigerian origin has been arrested for killing a Nigerian diplomat in Khartoum and stealing his money, the Foreign ministry in Abuja said Monday.
Mr Habibu Almu, an immigration attache working in the Sudanese capital, was found dead at his home last week.
"It was established that the deceased was stabbed to death," Nigerian Foreign ministry spokesman Tope Adeleye Elias-Fatile said in a statement.
