Militant groups fuel poaching in East Africa

The director said the task force is focusing on four countries where the 28 tonnes of animal parts seized this year have been traced to. He however declined to name the countries.

It is urgent that the international community and INTERPOL get involved in stopping the slaughter of these magnificent animals which not only please the human soul but provide needed jobs for many thousands of Kenyans in the tourist and associated industries. The poachers are using sophisticated methods to extract and murder the country's wildlife heritage. Kenyan political leaders - Do Your Duty!
