Sharp focus on maternal health

The photo exhibition has five sections, all showing what armed conflict can do to women and how women’s vulnerability is increased — they go out to look for water, firewood and food, which makes them a target.

It also shows some of the strategies that the AU and other organisations have used to reduce women’s vulnerability during war.
